What does BEST do?

BEST acts as a broker between schools, businesses and community groups, initiating ideas and getting projects off the ground.

We also run a series of programmes which include:

Giving students the opportunity to experience the world of work.

Using both business volunteers and actors helping students develop and practice their interview skills.

Linking up students with businesses, working on real business problems and challenges.

Using the power of the email to support and encourage students and share experiences.

Enabling a whole class to link up to a business, via the internet, to discuss various topics.

Arranging for teachers to spend some time in different business environments.
